Gourmet Sushi was founded in October 2016 in the heart of London by Nuriddin Shamsutdinov. With more than ten years of experience in the Japanese food industry, Nuri set out to create something extraordinary.
Driven by a passion for quality, he launched his own London-based restaurant and takeaway, determined to raise the bar in sushi dining.
Gourmet Sushi is now welcoming franchise partners across the UK. The menu features an array of dishes including Duck Gyoza, Crunchy Seared Salmon Rolls, and Yellow Tail Jalapeno - all crafted to the taste buds of London’s residents.
How does the Gourmet Sushi franchise model work?
As a franchise partner you benefit from having the choice of two franchise models with different levels of initial investment. Both models offer a unique set of benefits and the franchise team will aim to teach you how to unlock its income earning potential.
Restaurant and takeaway model
Your full-scale sushi restaurant will offer customers dine-in, takeaway, and delivery options. This model will require an investment estimated to be between £170,000 and £230,000 depending on the location and fit out costs.
- Gourmet Sushi have found that a location with 1,200 sq ft works best as the space allows for higher turnover.
- This option is well suited for a location in higher footfall areas, such as high street locations or shopping malls.
Please note: finance is available for qualified applicants.
Dark kitchen delivery model
Your dark kitchen model will offer customers delivery options only. This model requires a much lower level of initial investment, estimated at around £30,000.
- You do not need to rent or fit out large space in a high footfall area.
- All you’ll need to do is set up your equipment and ensure that your location is located where there is high demand for food delivery.
What type of franchisee is Gourmet Sushi looking for?
It’s essential you have a solid background in hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in leadership roles, such as a general manager or head chef.
A minimum of 10 years of UK hospitality experience is required to ensure you’re well-equipped to join the Gourmet Sushi family.
