Kall Kwik and Prontaprint have pledged to invest more than £3.5million into the design and print franchises this year as more and more people are attracted to franchising as a means of taking control of their futures.
Contracts for 25 resales or new franchises across the combined networks have already been exchanged, while a further five deals are expected to complete by the end of the year.
Says Kealan Lennon, chief executive officer of On Demand Communications, which owns the two brands: “These positive investment figures confirm that confidence in the franchise market remains high.
“The franchise route is proving to be very popular, bringing with it the power of an established name, a proven business model and unparalleled support from the franchisor. It is therefore understandable that, in this uncertain economic climate, an increasing number of entrepreneurs are turning to franchising to take control of their destiny.”
