One of Britain’s biggest and busiest franchise shows has gone online and during the event James Thomas, QFP commercial manager, d&t will deliver a seminar entitled, seven tips for a killer business plan at 2:30 pm this Saturday, 6 June.
Thomas explains: “The lockdown has given many people time to reflect and reconsider their future. For those who may be now thinking the old nine-to-five job is no longer for them, franchising offers one of the most reliable routes to becoming self-employed. As a result, we anticipate there will be a good level of interest in the sector moving forwards.
“For those who do want to become their own boss, the virtual International Franchise Show is a great place to start. It’s free to attend online and to virtually explore the franchises that are available.
“There will also be a programme of live webinars and I will be discussing one of the first things potential franchisees need to look at – business planning. I will discuss when a business plan is required, the importance of mapping out your business decisions as a tool to develop and grow your business, as well how to best utilise it to acquire funding for start-up or growth. I will impart seven killer tips for writing a great business plan and some common pitfalls that we see businesses make at this stage.
