German Doner Kebab makes two additions to leadership team

New senior director of marketing and chief financial officer appointed

German Doner Kebab has made two key appointments to its leadership team to support its international growth ambitions.

Mike Brouwers and Georgina Cavendish have joined the Hero Brands’-owned business as it gets set to embark on a period of rapid growth across the globe.

Mike, the new senior director of marketing for the GDK UK and Europe division, is an award winning marketing director with over 25 years of global, regional and local commercial experience. 

He’s worked for multinational companies in the FMCG and food service sector, including Subway and Diageo. 

Georgina has joined as chief financial officer for GDK International from another Hero Brands’ company, Island Poké, where she was finance director. She’s also worked for Hilton Hotels and Benito’s Hat.

GDK opened its first restaurant in Berlin in 1989. It now has over 90 restaurants worldwide.
