The team at Kall Kwik Farnham took home the Community Consideration accolade at this year's Eagle Radio Business Awards
Kall Kwik Farnham is celebrating winning a major local business award. The franchise won the Community Consideration accolade at the 2020 Eagle Radio Business Awards, beating stiff competition from 200 other companies across Hampshire and Surrey.
Jane Redhead, business manager at Kall Kwik, said: “We pride ourselves in playing a very active role within the community we have served in for 36 years. Winning this award against other strong entries is recognition of all of the work we have done and continue to do for others.
“Last year we were finalists in the Customer Focus category of the same awards, so to be one of the overall winners this year is a great achievement. It’s a great boost for the whole team in difficult times.”
In addition to offering local charities discounts for design and print work, the staff at Kall Kwik Farnham have actively involved themselves in charitable fundraising initiatives, including selling cakes, taking part in sponsored bike rides, walks and even a Santa run in fancy dress. Jane herself walked from Eagle Radio in Guildford to the hospice in Farnham. The franchise has named the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as its charity for the year and has so far raised over £5,000 for this most worthy cause.
Kall Kwik Farnham is a partner of the Community Matters Partnership (CMPP) and plans to give at least three days of the team’s time this year to local community projects. It is also a member of Connect Surrey and the Surrey Chamber of Commerce.
