Franchise manager Carri Walters, who will soon be helming a new franchise territory, has had her CQC accreditation approved
This process normally takes up to 16 weeks, but new franchisee Carri Walters’approval was rubber-stamped in just eight weeks – largely thanks to Blossom Home Care’s systems and experience.
“The reason the registration has come back so quickly was because of my background and experience,” explains Carri. “And because of the ties I already have with Blossom, the interviews were merged into one instead of having to complete two.
“Now that the CQC have an idea of the Blossom brand, they are aware of our systems, which will make it a lot easier for them when it comes to inspecting and making decisions on our documentation, policies and more.”
In her role as franchise manager, Carri would normally support franchisees in recruiting a registered manager, as well as going through their registration and training process – all of which helps prepare them for their CQC interviews.
However, it was a little different this time around for Carri as she prepares for the opening of her own franchise territory.
“We’re really looking forward to our launch in Harrogate and Ripon in just a couple of weeks. We are all set and waiting to hit the ground running; networking is underway, we’re meeting new people, and getting excited when an enquiry comes in, or a candidate calls for more information on a job role… we can’t wait to get going!” she says.
