Esquires has sold over one million cups of Fairtrade coffee since it launched its exclusive range in February this year.
With stores across the UK and Ireland, it’s now three months since the premium coffee franchise became one of the first high street coffee chains to go fully Fairtrade on its espresso drinks - and the range has gone down a storm with existing customers and has continued to bring new faces into outlets.
“We are delighted with the response to our Fairtrade range,” says Peter Kirton, managing director of Esquires Coffee Houses. “The one million cups of coffee represent more than just a sales figure - it’s about the much-needed support the Fairtrade prices bring to coffee farmers.
“We believe in treating people fairly, a value that has been at the centre of our growth. In return, we have retained customer loyalty, staff and suppliers and one of the best-tasting coffees on the market.”
