Prontaprint opens first digital centres
Prontaprint has opened its first digital centres since new managing director, Laird MacKay, took charge of the UK print-on-demand expert.
The openings in Norwich, York, Finchley and Fulham mark the beginning of the company’s ambitious expansion plans for the UK and Ireland.
Says MacKay: “Prontaprint’s aim is to expand the network by an additional 20 all-digital centres in existing and new greenfield sites within the next three years as the company continues its drive to become the dominant name in the UK print-on-demand sector.
“While remaining a high street presence, we envisage many of the new sites will be in more general commercial locations and business parks, which emphasise our positioning as a business sector partner of choice.
“Right now, Prontaprint is an exciting place to be. The number of Prontaprint centres achieving turnover of around £1 million is increasing rapidly and we are on the look-out for talented franchisees who can drive the company towards this goal using their comprehensive sales, management and marketing expertise.
“Useful though it may be, a pure printing background isn’t a priority requirement but commercial experience is.”
