Gary Farrer, SureCare’s Managing Director, said: “There is a lot of negative coverage around care companies and whether the care industry still offers a good career choice.
“SureCare has decided to use Carers Week to launch its Care Worker Pledge which demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that the care profession is still a good path to follow.
“There has never been a greater need for our industry to attract committed, talented and caring professionals, but it is up to care providers to ensure they provide the opportunities and rewards for those who decide to enter this most vital of professions.”
Farrer added: “We are currently recruiting to meet the demands of our ageing population. “We want anyone who applies to us for a job to know they will be joining a company which offers a number of important guarantees including the prospect of long-term career progression.”
SureCare wants to hear from care workers with a range of experience to provide support during the day, evenings, weekends and for short visits.
In addition to personal care and support, SureCare offers home services, respite and holiday care and childcare including babysitting and a mobile crèche service for weddings and other events.
SureCare was founded more than 20 years ago and now operates a network of established offices in more than 30 locations across the UK.
