In a statement to its customers, MD Matthew Snell outlines the safety practices franchisees are adopting in light of the coronavirus pandemic
Trophy Pet Food‘s local network is operating as usual, with certain additional precautions taken to put the “safety and wellbeing of business owners, valued customers and pets first.”
In a statement, Matthew Snell, managing director of Trophy Pet Foods writes:
As an online home delivery service provider of pet food, we do not see this situation changing in the immediate future and you can remain confident that we will continue to meet, and where possible exceed, your needs in this challenging situation.
We continue to vigorously follow the advice of the Government and Public Health England and will continue to put the safety and wellbeing of our business owners, you, our valued customers and your lovely pets first.
1. Contactless deliveries
As previously advised, we’ve made the decision to ask your local Trophy Pet Food’s business owners to introduce ‘contactless deliveries’ which we hope will offer peace of mind and protection for everyone. We have recommended that our delivery drivers place your order in a safe location. Should they need to speak to you, or you to them, they will ring the doorbell/knock and stand two metres back. When you open the door, they will conduct their business without physical contact with you or your pets.
2. Payments
For the time being, and with everyone’s wellbeing in mind, cash and card payments at the door are discouraged. Please make arrangements to pay for your orders either over the phone, or via internet banking. Please check with your normal contact which methods they can accept.
3. Alternative products
Whilst stocks are in a good position at the moment, the situation could change in the future, so we have a contingency plan in place. As such, Trophy Pet Foods guarantees that should your normal choice of foods be temporarily unavailable, we will upgrade your order to another suitable food without any additional charge.
Finally, I am proud to say that the whole team at Trophy Pet Foods, along with our wonderful family of local businesses, are working tirelessly to ensure that you can continue to feed your pets the best that Britain can offer. We recognised that this is a challenging time for us all, so I would like to personally thank you for your continued support of Trophy Pet Foods and most importantly our local businesses that work so hard to serve you.
