What are the franchise terms of agreement and renewal?

Premier Education prefers to reveal its fees after the point of enquiry – these are not promoted to interested parties on site at first touch. Franchise agreement terms last five years in most cases.

Premier Education currently operates in around 14 per cent of primary schools in the country. In some areas, such as the Cambridge and Newmarket territory, the company’s penetration is over 50 per cent. Since the pandemic, there has been increased scrutiny on schools to provide more P.E., school sports and physical activity for their pupils, with many missing out on meeting the chief medical officer’s recommendation of 60 minutes of physical activity per day. This has led to many schools utilising the support of Premier Education for additional delivery, as well as more detailed or extended support, with products like WOW Active bringing measurability to physical activity performance.

At this time, there are two important funds which benefit schools, their pupils, parents and the Premier Education network. These are the Holiday Activities and Food programme, which funds the attendance on holiday clubs and activities for children in receipt of free school meals. This has had a substantial impact on the company’s network, as the Premier Education team has helped local authorities and councils to utilise over £3 million of funding in 2021.
