Results of Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark “highlights the progress the management team and franchisees have made together over the last couple of years”

Apollo Blinds has won the Continuous Improvement category of the Best Franchise Awards 2021 after smashing its own franchisee satisfaction levels.

The company picked up the accolade after conducting its third annual Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark survey, which covers training and support, leadership, the franchise system, value and rewards, culture and relationships and general satisfaction.

It saw the overall satisfaction score from its 50-strong franchisee network increase by nine per cent on the previous year to 76 per cent.

Matt Thomas, Apollo Blinds’ business development director, says: “It’s so important that we keep listening to what our franchisees have to say, so that we can keep improving the service and support we offer to them as part of a partnership approach.

“The WorkBuzz Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark is vital to the performance and growth of our network, as it looks at how the franchise is performing through the eyes of our franchisees.

“The report is a brilliant benchmark for Apollo Blinds and highlights the progress the management team and franchisees have made together over the last couple of years.

“There are some striking figures, such as the fact 100 per cent of our franchisees said they would renew their franchise agreements and more than 70 per cent expected to see their overall profitability improve over the next 12 months.

“Also, 100 per cent said they were happy with the initial support and training they received from Apollo Blinds when they joined the network.”

The increase in the satisfaction score is all the more remarkable after a difficult year where, like a lot of businesses, Apollo Blinds endured challenging trading conditions due to the global pandemic.

Despite this, the company has seen record sales of its blinds, shutters, awnings and curtains since March 2020, fuelled by the UK boom in home improvements.

Matt says that one of the key factors underpinning the increase in general satisfaction levels is the company’s continued investment in bringing new products to market.

He adds: “The Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark for 2021 enables us to keep setting the highest standards for the business and this makes it an increasingly attractive proposition to prospective franchisees.”
