Lynn Fletcher has found the working flexibility she needed by becoming a Dream Doors franchisee.
Having previously worked in advertising and sales, she was looking for a new business opportunity that could fit around the needs of her young son.
She also wanted to take on a business that offered the right return on her initial start-up costs and found the Dream Doors model fitted the bill.
Lynn says: “I initially saw Dream Doors on the internet and that then prompted me to go to a trade show.
“After talking to the team there, I decided to go ahead with it. The reason I went for Dream Doors was that the investment required was not as significant as some others that offered high earnings.
“It seemed more plausible and more of an acceptable figure.
“Basically, I wanted to be my own boss. My son was younger then and I wanted the flexibility to make my own choices.
“I come from a sales background and, at first, I was concerned that I didn’t know anything about kitchens, so I questioned my suitability.
“But everyone at Dream Doors pointed out to me that the job of selling is something I’ve done all my life, I just need to change what I’m selling.”
“It’s a demanding job - you can’t say that it’s not - but it’s a rewarding one as well.”
Dream Doors is hosting two exclusive discovery days in March in Newcastle and Manchester for individuals interested in becoming franchisees.
The company has 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the north east, north west, Yorkshire and Scotland.
