The Great British Franchisee Awards focuses on the people who have made the UK franchising a success. Recognising the outstanding performance of franchisees, regardless of the size of their business or the sector they work in.
Judged by a prestigious panel of industry experts, Caremark franchisees, Shipra Mehta and Swati Bagwe, demonstrated what it takes to be great British franchisees. “We are delighted to get the GBF Award,” said Shipra.
“It is very encouraging to get such recognition especially when you are a small business owner and are new to the sector. The last year has been very challenging because of the pandemic, however, having a good team and vision has helped us in achieving and maintaining our goal of providing excellent quality of care to our community,” continued Swati.
The judging panel consisted of Lloyds Bank head of franchising, Suki Dehal, BDO’s senior key account manager franchising, Aman Nirwal, AMO Consulting’s Euan Fraser and Derrick Simpson, companion of the British Franchise Association.
“I feel passionately that the basis of any successful franchise network is the commitment, drive and dedication of their franchisees. The Great British Franchisee Awards recognise those franchisees who excel at combining their passion for the business with a commitment to the franchise sector and involvement with their community,” said Derrick about the awards.
While Aman reflected on the judging process: “I have thoroughly enjoyed reviewing all the applications, it has been so refreshing to see how all sizes of businesses from various sectors have coped and adapted their businesses in response to not only COVID-19 but looking at sustainable growth and business resilience for many years to come.”
