businesslink.gov.uk, the government website that provides practical guidance for small and medium-sized enterprises, has launched a series of case study guides to encourage businesses to take up best practice ways of working.
The idea behind the publications is to show how businesses can take simple steps to boost their own performance by identifying and adopting approaches and ideas that other businesses have shown can help improve productivity and profitability.
The four case study publications focus on key business areas - from employing people and IT and ecommerce to sales and marketing and taxes, returns and payroll - and showcase real-life examples of what has worked in other businesses.
