Kerensa and Courtney Rose to take over Surrey franchise business
Kerensa and Courtney Rose have taken over Countrywide Grounds Maintenance’s Surrey franchise - the first sister and brother team to join the company’s network of over 43 UK franchisees.
Kerensa previously worked in the accountancy and finance sector, while Courtney was an estate agent for several years. For the past 18 months he’s worked for a Countrywide franchise in Berkshire to boost his knowledge of the industry.

The Surrey franchise has a team of 21 groundsmen and eight vans on the road. The business offers a range of services, including grass cutting, gutter clearance and landscaping, plus line marking and winter gritting for businesses, schools, hospitals and facilities management companies.
Kerensa will be responsible for the strategic growth of the business, while Courtney will assume an operational role.
Kerensa say: “What ultimately drove us to Countrywide Surrey was the professionalism and reputation of the brand and finding a sector that would give us both a long-term future.”
James Kelly, managing Director of Countrywide, says demand for professional groundsmen has been on the rise in recent years, with the commercial sector looking for a professional all-year-round grounds maintenance service.
He adds: “We have seen an increasing number of franchise owners like Kerensa, who are leaving professional careers to start their own new business in this booming sector.
“The combination of Kerensa’s financial and organisational skills, coupled with Courtney’s knowledge of grounds maintenance and great customer service, looks set to make them a winning team.”
