The multi-award-winning group is celebrating after receiving fantastic feedback from independent consultancy WorkBuzz
The children’s educational and entertainment group, Debutots, is a five-star franchise.
Using a no-holds-barred confidential online survey, the Franchise Satisfaction Report 2022 is based on findings from across the UK network of Debutots franchisees. The end result was an overall satisfaction score of 93 per cent – one of the highest in the industry, and consistently above the benchmark.
Charlotte Salter started Debutots in 2003 and franchised it four years later. “I’m over the moon with how well Debutots is working – for everyone, especially the children and communities that we now all feel so much a part of,” she said.
“Debutots dramas are based on a new and original story each week. As a result, both the grownups and their little ones come to classes with great anticipation and excitement to find out who or what is in the story that day.”
For the survey, franchisees were asked to rate Debutots in a number of categories. This included the training and support offered, as well as the current leadership, general culture and relationships between franchisees. The actual franchise system itself was put under the microscope as was its value and rewards criteria. Finally, franchisees were asked to rate their overall satisfaction with Debutots.
One Debutots franchisee described the training and support as “fantastic”; she added: “All of the tools to run a successful business are provided. The continued support after the initial training is amazing, nothing is ever any trouble and queries and requests are always responded to promptly. The network and support from other franchisees is incredible. We all share ideas, success and tips so we can all grow our business.”
Steven Frost, WorkBuzz CEO said the benchmarking survey was set up to help those considering buying into a franchise, find the best-performing companies out there. Since it is based on the findings of actual franchisees, potential buyers are gaining inside information about what it’s really like to be a part of that franchise.
He added: “Franchising is a fantastic industry, but it’s not always easy to identify the opportunities that truly will deliver on their promises. Prospective franchisees would do well to monitor our results.”
