A new degree that gives students an insight into the world of entrepreneurship will be offered by Canterbury Christ Church University’s Business School in September 2007.
The programme, called the BSc in Entrepreneurship, can be taken with business studies or marketing.
“Entrepreneurship is a driving force in the modern, globalised economy and this programme aims to harness students’ passion for business ideas, unlock their creativity and stimulate innovative thinking,” says Andrew Perkins, Principal Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University’s Business School.
“Students are encouraged to undertake a practical project in conjunction with a local organisation in order to demonstrate that they can apply theoretical concepts to real business problems.”
Students will get the opportunity to study a range of modules such as ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation’, ‘Consumer Behaviour’ and ‘Entrepreneurship in the Global Marketplace’.
