Founder Alex Ellinis: “We’ve decided to share our success with others”
The Greater London Business School is set to make its courses available throughout the UK by launching as a franchise.
The training provider, which was established in 2018, delivers a range of management and leadership courses using a combination of blended learning and professional development programmes.
Alex Ellinis, founder and director of global online and executive education at the Greater London Business School (pictured), explains: “We’ve decided to share our success with others and see the franchise proposition as the best way to grow our brand throughout the UK and beyond.
“Franchisees will be investing in an already proven and successful business, with demand for our services increasing all the time.
“By franchising, we will be able to give business people or those looking to change career this unique opportunity to benefit from our highly rated management and leadership courses.”
According to Alex, potential franchisees should ideally have two-three years’ experience in the subjects they’re going to teach, be a people person with excellent communication skills and have a passion for developing people.
“It’s essential we keep our great reputation in place,” he adds. “We currently have 5/5 star reviews as a business school, so we will not be giving this opportunity to just anybody.
“People will be putting their trust in you to improve themselves and their businesses, so it’s essential we find the right franchisees who are ambitious and want to use excellence to grow.”
The cost of the franchise depends on the number of courses a franchisee chooses to facilitate. Costs for a single course start at £1,000 (plus VAT).
Franchisees receive full training, marketing assistance, a quantity of workbooks, a comprehensive facilitator’s guide, a full slide deck for each course, sales leads and ongoing support. All franchisees operate from exclusive territories.
