The children's education franchise is working on a COVID safe pathway to reopening across all its locations in the UK
As of now, in England, MagiKats is allowed to reopen if it can do so safely. In Scotland and Wales, it is still required to be shut but hopes this will change at the start of August.
Sarah Marsh, director of operations outlines: “We have been working with our franchise owners on their risk assessments, to make sure that each centre applies its own policies and opens with the safety of its staff and students as the top priority. It’s hard work, but we can’t wait to be back in person!”
Local tuition centres are planning to run socially distant workshops with a focus on small-group learning but will continue with online learning as some parents and carers may still want to wait until children are back in school in September.
MagiKats has also developed MagiKats@Home for those interested in support but who don’t have a MagiKats Tuition Centre near them.
Sarah adds: “The interest in supported learning could make this coming year the highest-earning yet for our franchisees as so many families are looking for tuition support due to the children needing to catch up on the school work missed and the uncertainty over the next academic year.”
