“Our plan is to build a cluster of Papa John’s,” says franchisee Sukhbir Gill
Papa John’s franchisee Sukhbir Gill and his business partner Lakhwinder Singh (Lucky) have opened two new outlets in Liverpool, in addition to acquiring five further stores in the region.
Sukhbir Gill said, “Our plan is to build a cluster of Papa John’s. From an operational point of view, this makes complete sense. It will help focus our local marketing campaigns, plus, it means staff recruitment and training is more straightforward.
“For staff, there will also be more opportunities for promotion locally, as we now have six stores all within 30 minutes of each other. This is motivating for our people, and we know happy staff make the best pizzas and that means very happy customers!”
The new stores use Papa John’s brand-new in-store livery that is tailored for each location, while the existing stores will also undergo a complete refresh to “cook up” local interest.
“We have been fortunate to be able to take advantage of Papa John’s special incentive scheme for new stores which provide deals on equipment, help with marketing, and reduced royalty fees,” says Sukhbir. “We anticipate this support will help us ‘taste success’ quickly, and we can also look at opening more stores locally in the near future!”
Papa John’s is actively recruiting enthusiastic franchisees throughout the UK, with help provided for location selection and full turn-key opening of stores.
