The store has been financed by a six-figure funding package from HSBC

Domino’s has opened a new outlet in Skipton, North Yorkshire as part of a strategy to offer the pizza franchise to customers in smaller UK towns.

The two-floor 1,200 sq ft store will create 25 new full and part-time jobs.

It’s owned by Domino’s Yorkshire, a franchisee group with eight outlets in the West Yorkshire region - three in Bradford, two in Leeds, two in Wakefield and one in Skipton. In 2018 it had an annual turnover of £10 million.

James Salt, managing director of Domino’s Yorkshire, says: “With HSBC UK’s support, we’ve been able to buy an existing business and refit and modernise the unit.

“Our new store not only gives customers in Skipton and its surrounding area access to Domino’s famous freshly handcrafted pizzas, but it has also created a host of new local jobs.”
