School is Easy Great Britain has been shortlisted for the 2022 Virtual Franchising Awards in the New Franchisor of the Year category.
Organised by the Quality Franchise Association (QFA), over 100 nominations were received for the awards and eight finalists made it through from each of the eight categories.
Franchise recruitment manager, Alexis Orton, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled just to be shortlisted alongside some other really worthy contenders! It’s a boom time for the private tutoring industry due in part to the learning loss caused by COVID and the increased demand for academic excellence. The rapid expansion of our network is proof of this as from a standing start, in under a year and during the pandemic, we were able to grow our network to cover 17 territories in England and Scotland.
“It’s an exciting time for franchising in general as a great many people have seen their positions made redundant or are taking stock of their lives and realising that they have no desire to return to ‘normal’. They don’t want the stressful commute to an office they feel they don’t need to be in. We represent the opportunity not only to build a profitable and community improving business but to do it in a ‘never miss a special family moment’ kind of way because a School is Easy partner has true control and flexibility and is able to work from home.”
While there are many tutoring providers out there, School is Easy’s goal is to become a market leader in the UK and believes that its key differences will realise that ambition. “Those differences are the tech we have at our disposal to support our franchisees, the robust initial training and ongoing support and most importantly, the people that we choose to partner with,” explained Alexis.
Winners will be announced on 28 January 2022.
