Home Instead Senior Care, home care provider to elderly people, has taken the Gold award at the British Franchise Association/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards.
Following a successful year, the company has gone from strength to strength, developing its brand, focusing on quality franchising and campaigning for better standards in its industry.
A combination of year on year growth, impressive recruitment processes, innovative training and quality care practices contributed to the business achieving the accolade.
The silver award went to Water Babies, one of the world’s largest baby swim schools, while Agency Express, the UK’s largest nationwide ‘for sale’ board company, took bronze.
“Being awarded gold in the Franchisor of the Year category is a testament to all the hard work we’ve put into creating quality franchises and jobs, while continually improving standards in the care industry,” says Trevor and Sam Brocklebank, co founders of Home Instead Senior Care.
“Our practising standards are very high and we thrive in focusing on the quality of care delivered to our clients across our franchises, while continuing to build on the efficiency of our business model.”
Other award winners included Barking Mad and Revive!
Barking Mad, whose franchisees offer a ‘home from home’ holiday for dogs, won the HSBC Franchisee Support Award.
SMART repair specialist Revive! took the Express Newspapers Brand Builder Award.
Brian Smart, director general of the bfa, says: “I would like to extend huge congratulations to all of our winners.
