Awesome Chips partners with McKinnon Nelson to secure new premises

The franchise is set to open five new shops by the end of the year

Awesome Chips has partnered with leisure real estate specialist McKinnon Nelson to secure new high street shop premises, as the franchise expands across the UK.

The Awesome Chips franchise is set to open five new shops by the end of 2023. Anthony Round, franchise director of Awesome Chips, explains: “Chips are generally an impulse purchase so we are looking for great locations with a high footfall. McKinnon Nelson’s expertise in site sourcing means they are well placed to support our expansion plans, helping us secure the very best sites for our new franchisees to trade successfully.”

Awesome Chips, originally created in 2015, serves fresh hand-cut chips, complemented with a range of sauces, rubs and spices and nothing else. With successful branches in Leicester, Wood Green in London and the Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham, it is now welcoming applications from franchisees to expand the brand across the UK and Europe.
