The brand is set to embark on its biggest growth ambition yet, with plans to open 100 locations across the UK in the next five years, including four new restaurants in Edinburgh
Island Poké will be opening a new site in Wimbledon at the end of July, making its debut in the neighbourhood.
Rooted in the traditional Hawaiian cuisine, which typically features fresh fish and vegetables on a bed of sushi rice, Island Poké uses sustainable and high-quality ingredients that deliver on both flavour and feel-good factor.
The new Island will feature the brand new Poké Bao, a light and fluffy bao bun, giving customers a fresh, tasty and handheld way to eat their poké.
Island Poké founder James Gould-Porter said: “Opening in Wimbledon is a huge moment for us and we are delighted to be bringing our fresh Pacific flavours to the area.
“It’s our mission to bring people a great and fresh alternative to the traditional lunch and dine-out offering and we think that the residents of Wimbledon are going to love it.”
Once Wimbledon opens, the brand will have 19 Islands in London and 11 in France.
