About BabyBallers
BabyBallers provides toddler football clubs from 16 months to five years of age, where children learn through play. Clubs operate weekly in local sports halls and each class lasts 35 minutes and runs back-to-back.
There are three types of classes:
• Baby Ballers – 16 months to 2.5 years
• Mini Ballers – 2.5 years to 3.5 years
• Ballers – 3.5 years – five years.
What attributes is BabyBallers looking for in its franchisees?
BabyBallers franchisees need to be reliable, hard-working, adaptable, willing to learn as well as having the ambition to continue to grow the BabyBallers brand. It is very important that if the franchisee is at the forefront of their classes that they are fun and sociable too. Creating a fun and enjoyable environment is not just for the benefit of the children, having the ability to create fantastic relationships with the parents is also important.
Crucially, a BabyBallers franchisee must be someone that others can depend on, they must be punctual, do not leave things to the last minute, they plan and prepare to ensure the success of their BabyBallers franchise.
What training and support does BabyBallers provide its franchisees?
BabyBallers initially provides prospective franchisees with a franchise information pack, a discovery call, financial forecasts and strategy call.
Once a franchise is on board the next stages are broken down into two phases. Phase 1 is the preparation and training phase which takes place over one month. Here you will work through the online training modules, complete the two-day franchisee training workshop and set up all the necessary things to be able to launch your club in month two.
Phase 2 is the launch phase where you put into action BabyBallers’ tried-and-tested marketing strategy to make sure your club launches with a high number of attendees. BabyBallers handholds franchisees through every step of the setting up and launching process.
It is proud to say that all its franchisees run profitable businesses.
How much does a BabyBallers franchise cost?
The franchise fee is £5,995-plus VAT. A club operating at 80 per cent capacity can earn a potential profit of £9,000 to 10,000 pa, achievable in year 1. There is potential to open two clubs in one territory
From just one club (i.e one two-hour session a week) BabyBallers would expect to see a net profit of circa £1,000 from the first month the club opens. The clubs it has recently opened have seen waiting lists appear before the first ball is even kicked!
Franchisees can operate as many clubs within their territory as they want. The majority of franchisees are multi-unit i.e they own more than one club and/or territory. They find the first territory they buy runs so well they quickly want to snap up their neighbouring patches and BabyBallers supports them to recruit coaches accordingly.
What locations or territories is BabyBallers looking to operate in?
The brand wants franchisees from South West, Midlands, Wales, North, Scotland, Northern Ireland.
What are the franchise terms of agreement and renewal?
It is a three-year franchise agreement with the right to renew on the franchisor’s then current franchise agreement.
Why is BabyBallers a good investment?
BabyBallers is different from any other franchise out there. Although it has a football focus, its primary goal is to make sure that children learn through having fun.
BabyBallers teaches so much more than just football. It helps with confidence growth, learning about movement and coordination, motor skills, colours, numbers and so much more.
The franchisee training package and unlimited ongoing support mean that franchisees are set up for success from the word go. The other great thing is that anyone can be a BabyBallers franchisee, no previous football coaching qualification is needed.
How in demand is BabyBallers’ services?
As previously mentioned, most of its clubs have waiting lists. BabyBallers has a franchisee launching in the New Year who is already having to open a second club to keep up with the demand despite not even having officially opened the doors to the first one. So the demand is definitely there.
