How does the Aire Serv franchise model work?

Aire Serv allows new franchisees the opportunity to start their own business via two different avenues.

Those with a background in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry can start their business with Aire Serv as a technician, completing jobs themselves, alongside growing their territory.

Alternatively, those with previous business experience can begin their Aire Serv journey as a manager, employing technicians to do the HVAC work, while they decide the best path for the growth of the business.

What support and training do Aire Serv franchisees receive?

Upon joining Aire Serv, you will be enrolled onto a week-long business training course in which head office staff disclose the confidential best practices and franchise systems that have made Aire Serv the success it is today. You will be coached in how to recruit and manage staff, how to effectively market your name within your area and more.

Franchise partners are given exclusive use in their territory of Aire Serv UK marketing materials and a proven approach to sales and service. At national conferences there are regular training meetings and information exchanges with other franchisees.

When training is finished, a high level of ongoing support is offered, including a dedicated franchise consultant on hand to aid you in the planning, operation and promotion of your business.

What are the Aire Serv franchise terms of agreement and renewal?

The initial franchise fee for an Aire Serv franchise is £18,000 (plus VAT), including working capital and equipment cost, with the total investment around £50,000. Due to a strong relationship with major high street banks, investors can potentially receive up to 70 per cent funding to start the business, allowing a start-up cost of as little as £15,000.

Because of the extensive support offered by Neighbourly head office, franchisees pay a central management fee of 7.5 per cent of turnover, with a further two per cent contributing to the national marketing levy.
