6:30 am: Took my dog Ruby for a short walk, and then back to the office (home).
7:00 am: Check emails and catch up on all of my social media/messages.
7:30 am: Print out the day’s worksheets and any invoices needed.
8:00 am: Wake my son and co-worker Paul up, this is the toughest job of the day.
8:30 am: Quick equipment check to make sure all is working as it should be.
9:00 am: Arrive at the first job of the day which is a lovely big lawn, this lawn was treated with a weed control and a summer fertiliser.
9:00 am – 2:30 pm: All of the jobs were the same weed and feed. I do make a point of having a chat with my customers if they are home as I think it makes for good customer relations.
2:30 pm: We had to treat a very large lawn with nematodes as it is infested with chafer grubs which could kill the entire lawn.
4:30 pm: Was the last job of the day which was another weed and feed.
5:00 pm: Home and unload the van and restock any equipment and chemicals which are needed for tomorrow’s jobs.
6:00 pm: A well-deserved cuppa and then out to take Ruby for her second walk of the day.
7:00 pm: Cut my own lawns.
8:00 pm: Final bits of admin, emails and social media.
