"It was time to concentrate on how we can find our resilience; adapt to an ever-changing landscape and look after our mental health," said founding director, Charlotte Salter
The Debutots’ network AGM went online this year and was a huge hit with franchisees.
Founding director, Charlotte Salter said: “Having been through the whirlwind of taking classes online and re-writing the rule book for holiday camps and classes moving forward, it was time to concentrate on how we can find our resilience; adapt to an ever-changing landscape and look after our mental health.”
Who Moved My Cheese by Dr Spencer Johnson, formed the basis for the theme of this year’s AGM. Each franchise received a copy in their AGM goodie box – which also included a chocolate brownie for their morning coffee and a G&T and some pretzels for the awards and entertainment!
A talk from industry expert, Andy Georgiou, praised Debutots’ strong performance throughout lockdown and during the summer holidays with Wild and Wonderful Camps and Doorstep Debutots classes being enjoyed by hundreds of children. “Andy’s talk was relevant, helpful and insightful and delivered so much more than we expected,” Charlotte explained.
Charli Folland, franchisee for Northampton said: “I just want to thank the head office team for a brilliant AGM. As always, our franchise family is pretty special and it feels so enlightening and inspiring when we all get together…even digitally!”
Franchisees enjoyed smaller group discussions in breakout rooms where Who Moved My Cheese was discussed in more detail and it inspired, reassured and motivated everyone. Charlotte explained that franchisees inspired each other with plans for the new term, shared innovative ideas and that they also laughed… a lot.
With a virtual photo booth for social media pictures and award winners’ pictures, a Kahoot quiz and lots of laughs; the Debutots franchise family was together again to inspire, support and give virtual hugs and high fives all round.
