Franchisee launches new Burger & Sauce restaurant in Leicester

Amandeep Singh has launched the company’s first Leicester branch and is excited to open the doors

Amandeep Singh has launched a new Burger & Sauce restaurant in Leicester, creating 12 new jobs in the city.

Amandeep was a self-employed builder for six years before joining Burger & Sauce as a franchisee. He says: “For several years, I’d been in construction creating retail outlets, but I was looking to do something totally different. I wanted to build something for myself and thought why not run a retail store? I came across Burger & Sauce and loved the fresh, tasty burgers all served with signature sauces plus a smile! It was clear the restaurants were always busy, and the brand was well marketed. I just went for it!

“Although I don’t have direct fast-food experience, the Burger & Sauce franchise opportunity offers comprehensive training in all aspects of running the business. I’ve been training in one of the Birmingham restaurants and so has the new team. The model is simple, and each restaurant has technology and processes to help it run smoothly. It’s completely different from my previous career but I’m now really excited to get my teeth into something new supported by the Burger & Sauce franchise team!”

Anthony Round, Burger & Sauce franchise director, adds: “We’ve been blown away by the number of burgers sold during Leicester’s first weekend of trading.  We have ten more restaurant launches planned for this year, so this is a fabulous start to 2023!

The Leicester branch is currently under construction and is set to open within the next few weeks. Once the restaurant is established, Amandeep plans to open more Burger & Sauce locations.  He explains: “Joining while the franchise is relatively young means there is a lot of opportunity for expansion.  I can see the potential in such a popular product driven by an experienced team.  I’m now looking forward to helping grow the Burger & Sauce brand and introducing our tasty burgers to even more customers in the future.”
