TaxAssist Accountants comes top in franchisee satisfaction for the fourth year in a row
TaxAssist Accountants, the UK’s leading tax and accountancy franchise and the UK’s largest network of accountants specifically servicing the needs of small businesses and self-employed individuals, has a lot to celebrate.
For the fourth year running, the successful franchise has been awarded Five Star Franchisee Satisfaction, an initiative organised by independent research agency Smith & Henderson, and has recently celebrated the opening of the 200th TaxAssist Accountants shop.
Select group
This means it’s part of a select group of franchisors that have received outstanding feedback from franchisees. It’s overall satisfaction score was among the highest of all participating franchisors in its category (Between 25k-99k Investment).
The network, which was founded 22 years ago, has grown consistently year on year and now services over 65,000 clients with a fee bank of over £42 million, has over 200 franchises covering the UK, plus over 20 in Ireland, as well as 6 branches in Australia, with further expansion planned.
Sarah Robertson, Group Operations Director of the TaxAssist Group, says: “As every good franchisor knows, the success of the franchise is totally dependent on the success of its franchisees.
“Feedback from our network is invaluable to highlight what we’re doing right and what areas we can enhance. Every year we look forward to digesting each comment and with so many positives, the report was a pleasure to read.”
TaxAssist Accountants has been a game changer for both the accounting industry and for small businesses in the way it ‘retails’ tax and accountancy services through open and welcoming shops.
This concept has proven to be an effective way to build a business, with many franchisees opening multiple shops in their territory, and is popular with the small business target market, who enjoy the friendly, convenient, local service.
Sarah adds; “We’ve recently celebrated the opening of the 200th TaxAssist shop and our brand continues to go from strength to strength, as we open more shops on a monthly basis. The accountancy and tax advisory market continues to be in strong demand and there seems to be no shortage of start-up businesses. With tax legislation becoming more complex and heading towards becoming digital, which many small businesses will require assistance with, you could argue there has never been a better time to open a TaxAssist Accountants practice.”
Focused on franchisees
When joining TaxAssist Accountants, franchisees will receive an exclusive territory, comprehensive initial and ongoing training, technical, marketing and business development support and the experience of highly skilled support centre staff, all of whom are focused on helping franchisees to build successful businesses and profitable assets for their future.
The primary role of a franchisee is business development, with accountants employed for production work, which is why commercially experienced individuals, as well as accountants, can become franchisees.
