Having joined the Numi Scan network in December 2020, Danielle Bateman shares the highlights of her business journey as the north London franchisee
What made you choose Numi Scan?
DB:I had looked into lots of leading ultrasound franchises, but Numi Scan stuck out to me as you’ll actually be supported by the director and creator of the brand unlike many other franchises.
This has allowed me to have direct support from an individual who has ‘been there and done it’, so I didn’t have to! Everything was ready-made and ready to go for us. The whole process was super easy and stress-free, unlike the pressure of setting up a business from scratch in an unfamiliar industry.
What kind of support did Numi Scan offer you?
DB:We had untold amount of support throughout our registration process, seeking premises, decor, important decision-making, advertising and so much more. This support was available around the clock. Nathan always makes himself available and is happy to help us when needed. The support is also ongoing. We have an excellent working relationship with our franchiser, knowing he will support our franchise to succeed and thrive.
The brand itself is like no other, every person who enters our clinic expresses that we are better than the rest. This reassures me that I have made the best choice in becoming a Numi Scan franchisee. We absolutely love that the brand is so unique, which pushes us above the rest at a luxury standard.
It is evident that we have made the right choice with Numi Scan as mostly all of our patients return to us again and again throughout their pregnancy. As well as referring all of their friends and family, leaving lots of five-star reviews along the way.
How do you feel about being part of the Numi Scan network?
DB:Having a Numi Scan franchise has been such a rewarding opportunity, allowing us to support many new and growing families. Our clinic has grown along with the families we serve. We have thrived so well in our first year, beyond expectations, hitting double figures in our first months of business and throughout the year.
Being able to work our own business around our family life has been ideal.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
DB:We are currently reaching the end of our first year, and we can’t wait to see what the next year will bring while we are looking to secure our next territory and open a second clinic with Numi Scan as we have overachieved in our first year!
