Giving customers the chance to achieve a beautiful golden tan in the comfort of their own home and at a time that suits them, Tan & Deliver provides aesthetically pleasing sunbeds with minimal running costs that are designed for convenient home use.

The stand-up beds feature the latest sunbed technology and have integrated fans and adjustable timers. Each bed only requires a metre square of floor space on a level surface with a standard double plug socket.

Sunbeds can be hired for blocks of four weeks and installation and maintenance are included in the price of the hire. Tan & Deliver has an impressive turnaround time and can usually get a sunbed to a customer’s home within 48 hours of the order being placed.

How does a Tan & Deliver franchise work?

A Tan & Deliver franchisee delivers premium home hire sunbeds to customers within their territory. The equipment is compliant with EU standards and carefully maintained by in-house sunbed engineers to ensure every sunbed delivered is in perfect working order.

Tan & Deliver franchisees follow the company’s proven business formula and benefit from ongoing marketing and personal guidance and support from the head office team to build their business. New business owners are supplied with target markets and tried and tested systems and strategies to improve productivity and increase sales.

How much does a Tan & Deliver franchise cost?

The Tan & Deliver franchise fee is £12,500 (plus VAT) and the franchise agreement is renewable after five years, subject to payments being up to date. Tan & Deliver has negotiated exclusive discounts with its sunbed suppliers, which means franchisees have recouped the franchise fee once they have purchased their first 10 sunbeds. The initial investment also includes legal fees, equipment, uniform and parts and spares.

The final cost depends upon a number of variables, including the size of the fleet, territory location and lease costs, but is typically between £30,000 and £100,000.

Tan & Deliver also charges a management fee of £15 per sunbed per month after the first six months of trading and £20 per sunbed per month from year 2 onwards.

What do you get for your Tan & Deliver franchise fee?

A Tan & Deliver franchise package gives franchisees the right to use the brand name within an agreed territory. Also included are all the processes, systems and templates required to run the business, plus marketing, training and legal support.

The package also includes marketing leaflets, business cards, branded polo shirts and sweatshirts, stationery, vehicle branding, a tool kit with parts and initial spares and a tanning lotion product starter pack.

How much does a Tan & Deliver franchisee earn?

A Tan & Deliver franchise is an ideal business to run part-time alongside an existing job, particularly as the business is being built.

A franchisee’s earnings depend on the number of sunbeds in the fleet. By the end of year two, a franchisee with 10 sunbeds would be earning a minimum of £18,000, while a franchisee with 40 sunbeds in the fleet should be earning over £72,000, rising to £90,000 by the end of year four.

New franchise owners take part in a dedicated classroom-based training programme, which is run by a member of the Tan & Deliver operations team, and spend time at head office to learn about marketing and accounting.
