It will be the first-ever 24-hour health club in the town
The fitness franchise, Anytime Fitness, has unveiled its latest club opening, with a brand-new location in the Berkshire town of Maidenhead.
Anytime Fitness Maidenhead is the first-ever 24-hour health club in the town and was officially opened by local MP and former Prime Minister, Theresa May.
The club forms a key part of the new Watermark public plaza in Maidenhead, which comprises 229 new homes, as well as restaurants, cafes and leisure space. The club has received a fantastic reaction from local residents, impressed by its premium equipment and round-the-clock opening hours to fit around their lifestyle.
The club is owned by franchisees Opinder and Shallu Kaushal and is their first Anytime Fitness club.
“We’re delighted to have opened this fantastic club location in Maidenhead,” said Neil Randall, CEO of Anytime Fitness UK. “Being part of a brand-new development in the town showcases the versatility of our model and the ongoing appeal of health clubs. With Maidenhead being significantly redeveloped, having its first-ever 24-hour health club will help accommodate a broad range of audiences and allow people to fit health and wellbeing around their lifestyles.”
Showcasing its commitment to the local community, Anytime Fitness Maidenhead has partnered with a local charity, Friends of Maidenhead Waterways (FoMW). The charity is committed to restoring the old waterways that run through Maidenhead town centre and as part of the partnership, Anytime Fitness Maidenhead will be fundraising throughout the year to help support key projects and initiatives.
