Writer of 20,000th Trustpilot review receives £200 off his repair and a bottle of prosecco
Car repair franchise ChipsAway has registered 20,000 Trustpilot reviews - and marked the occasion with a random act of kindness.
Customer Andrew Williams from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, who wrote the company’s 20,000 review, received £200 off a paintwork repair to his Ford Transit van and a bottle of prosecco.
The milestone comes just seven months after ChipsAway hit 10,000 reviews.
Andrew’s review said: ‘Second vehicle we’ve taken here and another excellent job, customer service second to none. Thank you very much.’
Tony Blair owner of the ChipsAway Car Care Centre in Northampton that carried out the repair, says: “At ChipsAway, we always like to go above and beyond and take great pride in our work - and receiving 20,000 Trustpilot reviews as a nationwide network is a testament to our ongoing success.
“We’re so glad we were able to pass on some of this to Mr Williams through a random act of kindness. In such uncertain times, it’s a pleasure to know we’re able to help put a smile on someone’s face.”
Between June and August this year, ChipsAway distributed over 81,000 leads to its 200-strong franchise network, equating to over 400 leads per franchisee.
As a result, the three months of the quarter have become the business’ first, second and sixth best months in its 26-year history.
