Döner Shack welcomes two new multi-unit franchisees

The franchise will be expanding in 2023 with the help of new franchisees Omar Chagani and Bobby Sidhu

Döner Shack, the Berlin-inspired street-food concept, continues to grow with the addition of two new multi-unit franchise partners, Omar Chagani and Bobby Sidhu. The UK’s leading fast-casual franchise brand will be boosting its presence across the UK with 20 new stores across the West Midlands and London over the next three years.

Omar, a London-based franchisee, will open 10 new sites across North West London, making his debut this summer. An existing Costa Coffee and fast-food franchisee, Omar is now ready to add Döner Shack to his portfolio.

He says: “Döner Shack is in an exciting space serving a fantastic range of products with the convenience and speed that customers now expect. The brand is becoming a major player in the food industry and is pioneering in its technology and innovation both in the kitchen with its robotic cutters and in being able to deliver a seamless and efficient experience to its customers.

Bobby also recently joined the Döner Shack family and will be opening 10 new restaurants across the West Midlands, with the first launching in the summer of 2023. With over 20 years of experience in franchising, Bobby has been running a network of globally recognised coffee and food franchise brands and was looking for a new opportunity to expand his portfolio in the food sector.

Bobby explains: “I have been really impressed with Döner Shack’s attention to detail and razor-sharp focus on doing things right - to drive consistency and scalability of a system with product quality and customer experience at its core. Döner Shack has become the UK’s leading fast-casual franchise brand since launching in 2019 in Leeds with four units operating in Leeds, Manchester, Leicester, Glasgow and London next month. Following the success of these sites, the brand has plans to open 150 restaurants in the UK over the next five years and establish a presence in the USA, Canada, Europe and the Middle East in a similar timeframe.
