Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield has been named as the most 'Outstanding Franchise in a Group' at the Home Care Awards 2024
Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield has earned a Home Care Award, making it a consecutive win for the franchise, after Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry claimed the award in 2023.
Accepting the accolade on the night were directors Jackie Gillen and Mark Gillen, alongside Registered Care Manager, Gemma Bristow. Other finalists in the category included Bridgewater Home Care Halton, Promedica24, and Right at Home North Somerset. This accolade recognises the standard of care that the office has been delivering.
Speaking about the award, Jackie said: “It is a privilege to be named the most Outstanding home care franchise at these national awards. I’d like to thank our wonderful Care Professionals and office team who are so committed to supporting people in our local communities. I’d also like to thank our wonderful clients who we love to help and have provided such touching feedback over the years.”
The Home Care Awards acknowledge organisations across the UK that provide unmatched home care services. The evaluation process of these awards is transparent, bringing experts together from across the sector to act as impartial judges.
Invited to judge at the 2024 awards (though not for categories Radfield entered in) was Radfield Home Care co-founder and CEO, Dr Hannah MacKechnie.
Speaking about the win, Dr Hannah said: “A huge congratulations to Jackie, Mark and the team in Wakefield. This award is well earned and shows what can be achieved with the Radfield model, providing exceptional home care to the people in our communities, keeping them connected to what matters most in life. For Radfield to have won this award back to back we are filled with immense pride, in a job well done.”
This win marks a strong start to 2024 for Radfield Home Care after an award-winning 2023.
The brand took home the “Most Outstanding Home Care Franchise” at the 2023 Home Care Awards and also earned the status of BFA Established which is the highest accolade a UK franchisor can hold within the BFA.
Radfield was also named within the top 50 franchise opportunities on the 2024 Elite Franchise 100 list. This is the first time Radfield has been in the top 50 and the franchise is the only home care franchisor in the top 50 with less than 50 locations.
