Some of the travel agency franchise’s top selling franchisees were invited to join a Virgin Voyages’ cruise for free
The Travel Franchise has taken 130 of its most successful franchisees on a Virgin Voyages cruise, following a 33% increase in holiday sales.
Those involved had all earned more than £20,000 in commission since joining the company, which had given them what the franchise calls ‘Platinum status’.
The cruise was a week-long journey around the Mediterranean and called at ports such as Ibiza, Rome, and Barcelona.
Co-founders Paul Harrison and Steve Witt as well as representatives from trade partners joined franchisees on the trip. These included TUI, Easyjet, Sandals, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Audley Travel, Travelpack, Beachcomber, P&O, and Gold Medal.
Company spokesperson, Eamonn Holmes and brand ambassadors, TV presenter Hayley Sparkes and double Olympian Daley Thompson, also accompanied the franchisees.
Harrison said: “The event is a chance to spend a week together, celebrating our success and recognition, along with company updates, new initiatives, and enhanced systems and technology – all while partying for the week and rekindling friendships. Events like this are the foundation on which our company is built.”
The Travel Franchise plans to roll out free trips to more of its franchisees later in the year.
Elite franchise package holders have been invited to a free Millionaire’s Retreat in Crete in October. Meanwhile, the Elite Experience trip offers franchisees to chance to go to Mauritius.
All trips involve workshops and training sessions aimed at supporting franchisees elevate their businesses further.
