The latest addition to the company’s UK franchise network was officially opened by Trowbridge mayor, councillor Drewett, on January 23 and welcomed over 1,500 customers during its first few days of trading.
The new bakery not only stocks Warrens Bakery’s range of pasties, but also breakfast options, breads, freshly made sandwiches and hot and cold drinks.
The Wiltshire franchise is Julie Kerby’s second in partnership with Warrens Bakery - she also has a store in nearby Melksham that opened last November. Julie plans to open a third outlet, in Devizes, in March.
Carl Mortimer, in charge of franchise operations at Warrens Bakery, says: “The Trowbridge bakery has a fantastic warm community feel to it and has been well received by locals.”
Established in 1860, Warrens Bakery is the oldest bakery in Cornwall.
