Buy a franchise from this market-leading education franchise group and you could make a real difference in the lives of local babies, children and families
How did the WOW World Group form?
Baby Sensory was the original parent/baby sensory development programme which established itself as the market leader. Toddler Sense, the follow-on programme from Dr Lin Day, came next, followed by further best-in-class, research-led child development programmes. WOW World Group was formed in 2016 to accommodate all of these, which now include Reading Fairy, Mini Professors and KeapaBeat.
Why do you think WOW World Group was identified as a finalist for the EWIF awards?
Our team of franchisors work incredibly hard in their regions supporting their franchisees. We couldn’t be prouder of Abeer Abdel-Salam, who made the finalist listing this year.
We have a rigorous support structure in place to give franchisees all the tools and know-how needed to run our award-winning, research-based programmes – of which we’re immensely proud – and there are still many opportunities to join our Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense, Reading Fairy, Mini Professors, and KeepaBeat teams. We’re excited to see all our brands growing rapidly and achieving the success already achieved with Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense. It really is an exciting time.
What kind of support does WOW World Group offer to its franchisees?
It starts with building a professional working relationship between franchisor and franchisee during the fact-finding discovery stage, to ensure a good fit. This is followed up by a premium practitioner training schedule and a business induction, providing franchisees with all they need to know to run outstanding classes for under-fives and families. We strongly believe in lifelong learning and have a CPD programme for franchisees, as well as regional meetings and an annual countrywide WOW conference. Our team of franchisees is 300-plus strong.
Do franchisees need experience working with children?
Franchisees certainly need a passion for our programmes and working with children, but all knowledge and theory required is provided by our rigorous training.
Why is the children and education sector a worthwhile space for franchise investment?
The focus on pre-school programmes is continually growing, and they’re being increasingly recognised for the formative impact they can have. We’re very proud founder members of the Children’s Activities Association, where we do amazing work in collaborating for our sector. We believe that there is no greater satisfaction than watching children develop, learn and grow, and to be part of this journey is a true privilege.
