Former management consultant Ian Fidge describes his Ovenclean franchise as “fantastic”
Ian Fidge says he’s been amazed by the demand for his services. So much so, that his wife has now joined him in the business to help with his rocketing workload.
“I can’t praise the franchise highly enough,” Ian enthuses. “I’ve had terrific support from the management team and I’m incredibly busy - thanks in part to the high numbers of leads coming through the Ovenclean call centre and website, all of which have been generated by the company’s central marketing activity.”

Before becoming an Ovenclean franchisee, Ian spent much of his working life analysing different businesses and, once he had decided to invest in a franchise, was determined to approach his new venture with his eyes wide open. He spent 18 months evaluating various opportunities, but explains that Ovenclean emerged as the hot favourite.
“Initially I looked at business to business franchises that matched with my previous experience and background,” Ian explains. “However, all too often they seemed overly complex and sometimes I couldn’t see how I was meant to make money.
“By contrast, Ovenclean offered a straightforward business model and a strong, well recognised brand name. It seemed to have the best package, the best products and a huge marketplace with opportunity to build a regular repeat order customer base.”
After his launch, Ian was booked for three weeks solid and, now well into his third year, he says he hasn’t looked back. He has a better lifestyle with more control and flexibility, as well as a good income and tremendous job satisfaction.
Ovenclean is the longest established and most successful domestic oven cleaning franchise in the UK.
