Entrepreneurs break a £1m turnover through multi-unit ownership
Despite the challenges of recent times, the U.K.’s leading logistics network is continuing to expand at pace – with two consecutive years of record-breaking 26 per cent revenue growth, while the typical gross margin for all locations is a no-less-impressive 65 per cent.
PACK & SEND is delighted to have seen an increase in the number of multi-unit franchisees in the business, shining a light on the benefits of owning multiple territories as the logistics network expands.
Winning duo
Take business partners Daniele Savi and Noureddine Koudy, who own and run PACK & SEND’s Richmond Park and Elephant & Castle service centres in London. The pair wanted to run their own business but understood how becoming part of an established franchise would allow them to grow and develop rapidly, under the umbrella of an established franchise brand.
Daniele and Koudy had over 30 years of experience in logistics, gained with Royal Mail in London. The partners purchased their first service centre in December 2016 and became multi-unit franchise owners when they purchased the Richmond Park franchise on 1 March 2021.
Success followed swiftly with the pair achieving a turnover of well over £1m last year across the two centres. As multi-unit franchisees, they reap the benefits from economies of scale and being able to centralise certain functions such as operations, vehicles and personnel.
Growth opportunity
Daniele and Koudy are a great example of how multi-unit franchising with PACK & SEND can allow talented people to develop a large and profitable business delivering high-quality logistics services across the globe, a business which has a huge scope for further growth.
For the entrepreneurially-minded, multi-unit ownership represents a fantastic opportunity to grow. Multi-unit franchisees can operate the same business model at multiple sites, carrying across their knowledge, business acumen and experience to bring their services or products to a new franchise territory.
No limits!
PACK & SEND’s trademark No Limits! approach and commitment to providing outstanding packing and shipping solutions for its customers are paying dividends for new and existing franchisees alike. In the last year, PACK & SEND service centres have achieved an average annual turnover of £360,000 and the top 25 per cent now exceed £550,000. These excellent results are a testament to franchisees’ dedication and expertise, but also to PACK & SEND’s commitment to supporting their business growth, with teams working tirelessly to uphold the business’s gold-standard services.
Support
Franchisees benefit from an excellent support package including a launch package to help them achieve rapid growth from the start, the power of a highly respected brand, state-of-the-art pricing, job management and customer contact system, competitive supplier deals and ongoing national marketing support.
With the logistics sector growing rapidly, there has never been a better time to learn more about franchising and get on board with PACK & SEND’s industry-leading opportunity.
