Recruiting

A member of the British Franchise Association, Nielsen has been running a franchise programme since 1969 and operates a UK and international network of franchisees and overseas distributors. It is currently recruiting franchisees to operate throughout the UK and has a combination of unoccupied geographical areas for sale and resale opportunities.
All Nielsen’s franchises are independently owned, providing an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneur looking for their next career step and the chance to be their own boss.
The company understands the importance of training in order to be successful, which is why it runs a training programme that covers both how to use the Nielsen products and the skills required to sell them successfully to customers. The International Training Academy is a facility where practical product training is provided to gain the skills and knowledge to understand the Nielsen range, as well as enhance sales ability.

Hands-on
————
A Former assault engineer in the Royal Marines, Stephen Begg joined Nielsen at the beginning of 2013. Upon leaving the navy, he wanted to remain in a job with a hands-on role that would utilise the training he had received in the British armed forces.
“The training you are given in the armed forces is the best in the world as far as I am concerned and when I left the Marines I wanted to put it to good use,” Stephen says. “After leaving I spent 34 years in employment, including working for a leading brand in the automotive industry, but I always wanted to be my own boss and reap the rewards for my own hard work.
“It was important for me to work with an organisation where they value quality individuals, not the ‘cheap and cheerful’ approach - and that’s where Nielsen comes in. As soon as I read their prospectus and went to visit their head office I knew I would be working alongside a team of professionals who would assist me in making my business a success.
“My military training was the best I could have asked for in preparation for being self-employed as it teaches commitment, determination and loyalty, but in terms of gaining the training and support required for running my own business, Nielsen have given me everything I needed, from sales and marketing support to full product training.
“For the first time I am in complete control of my future and as far as I am concerned I have chosen to work for the best franchise available. I would recommend working with Nielsen to anyone and I would certainly encourage you to be your own boss.”
