Four new Mac Tools franchisees are starting 2014 in the driver’s seat after signing up and finishing their training at the end of last year

Mac Tools is proud to welcome Alan Myers Jow, Stephen Hindmarch, Daniel Briggs- Price and Andrew Goodall to the company’s ever expanding team.

The Mac Tools line consists of over 18,000 professional tools, including screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches and assorted air tools, as well as its own toolboxes. Franchisees are trusted distributors of what many consider to be the best quality tools available to the professional automotive market.

Work-life balance
—————————

Many franchisees join Mac Tools in order to start their own business and improve their job satisfaction and work-life balance. It was this aspect of becoming a Mac Tools franchisee that particularly appealed to Stephen.

“I was feeling a bit dismayed with the role I was in previously and wanted to work for myself and do something slightly different, while still remaining in the motor trade, something I enjoy being part of,” he explains. “I looked around at a few options, including Mac Tools’ competitors, but I like the way they run things at Mac Tools and the enthusiasm of the management team really shines through.”

The Mac Tools brand is well known in the automotive world and has often already made an impression on prospective franchisees - part of the reason they decide to invest in a franchise.

“I had been looking into franchising for quite a while before I chose Mac Tools,” Alan says. “I had been a Mac Tools customer while I was working as a mechanic and had been impressed with their service. It was a brand I was familiar with, so it made perfect sense to go with them.”

Training and support are key to Mac Tools’ success. Its new development and training programme ensures franchisees receive continuous training that allows them to fully utilise their skill sets.

“The training programme was excellent and I loved every minute of it,” Daniel explains. “I enjoyed the training so much I’d do it again tomorrow if I was given the chance. The excellent support has continued now that I have launched my business. There’s always someone on the end of the phone if I ever need anything.”

Finance support
———————-

Joining Mac Tools is now even easier with its brand new finance support package. Mac Tools believes so strongly in the success of the company’s franchise business model that it now invests in its franchisees by initially funding part of the franchise fee. Mac Tools franchise applicants can now choose from the following finance options:

* Self-funding: £15,000 liquid capital and fund the remainder of your total investment of £50,000 through a bank loan. You are awarded Mac Tools’ highest trading terms.

* Mac Tools funding: self fund only £3,750 of liquid capital, plus up to £8,750 bank funding, with the remainder of your total investment being funded by Mac Tools. You’ll be awarded lower trading terms, but you’ll get the opportunity to move to higher trading terms through the franchise agreement.

In both cases you will benefit from great support and receive your branded van and starter stock that you can sell on at a profit.
