Enterprise Nation, the homeworking website, has launched a new feature designed to help homeworkers build their business and socialise online.
The community channel at www.enterprisenation.com goes live today and offers forums for discussion, business and social networking and an easy route to meet and work with other homeworkers.
Members can promote themselves and their business through a profile that can be edited to include a logo, web address and description. This acts as a virtual business card and allows members to post questions or comments in the forum and advertise their service or product in a dedicated market place.
Registration is free and includes access to the Community channel as well as a fortnightly enewsletter and podcast.
“Our readers and listeners have asked us how they can grow their business and share ideas and experiences with one another,” says Emma Jones, founder and editor of Enterprise Nation. “We have answered the call with the Community channel.
“Even if you don’t work from home but would like to, the Community channel can help. The new feature has been designed as a guide through the homeworking cycle. With it, a member can begin working from home, if they don’t already, find help getting set up and share business growth and success stories with new friends and colleagues.”
To celebrate its latest feature, Enterprise Nation has dedicated episode five of its homeworking podcast to the topic of homeworking and community.
Guest speakers include Shadow Enterprise Minister Mark Prisk MP, journalist Helen Rumbelow and Louise Leadbetter, founder of Honey PR, a business that delivers services to major multinationals through a home-based community of PR professionals.
