Belle Casa franchisees explain why they decided to invest in the domestic cleaning specialist
Franchisees Mike and Edwina Hobbs have been with Belle Casa for six years, and are delighted with the way their business has progressed.
“It has met all our expectations and more,” says Edwina. “The Belle Casa call centre is such a great help. It’s a great service as it allows us to get on with the day-to-day running of the business and not have to answer phones all the time.
“It saves us so much time and makes us look more professional - we don’t know of another domestic cleaning company that offers this unique service.”
Right decision

Martin Whitmee invested in Belle Casa Peterborough a year ago. He explains: “It was simply the right decision. We had a long meeting with Peter Dalton, Belle Casa’s managing director, and in fairness to him, he told us the good and the weak side with regard to the franchise - but the good far outweighs the weak side.
“We looked at other cleaning franchises, but nothing came anywhere close to what Belle Casa had to offer. The call centre is so important, as it allows us to work on the main part of the business, which is servicing our clients. It takes all the pressure off us knowing the call centre books all our appointments for us. It is an amazing system and we are filled with admiration for it.”
Richard Pragnall’s Sheffield franchise territory includes 56 postcodes. “The size of the area gives me an excellent chance to earn a very high income,” he says. “This is one of the reasons I joined - in my first year I had 159 appointments, which was an excellent start, and year two can only get bigger and better.”
This year the prestigious Belle Casa annual awards ceremony was held in Northamptonshire. Says Peter Dalton: “It was an opportunity to meet with the franchise partners that make up the Belle Casa network and see why the group is arguably the fastest growing domestic cleaning business in the UK.”
Mike and Andrea Woods were voted Belle Casa Franchise of the Year. Says Mike: “We are really pleased to have won, as we know how strong the other franchise partners are in the rest of the country. I’d like to think we won this award partly because of the high level of customer service we provide.
“I always say the proof is in the pudding, and we are delighted by our last quarter’s performance when 37 per cent of our total appointments came from client referrals. This tells me that what we do we do well - and long may it continue.”
Wonderful lifestyle

Interviewing 200 new clients in 12 months, Chris Bevan made High Wycombe her own in 2011. “Belle Casa has a brilliant system and I love the simplicity of the idea,” she says. “The large area, combined with the call centre, enables me to work the system without having to work that hard. I have built my franchise to a level that has given me a wonderful lifestyle.”
“These are just a few of the franchisees who are making a very good income from Belle Casa,” says Jenny Wilson, the company’s franchise director. “We wanted to be different from other domestic cleaning franchise companies, so it is not our policy to have hundred of franchisees covering a small territory, as this will limit franchisee earnings.
“What makes us different is that when a new joins us they are given an entire postcode area, therefore the earnings they can achieve are much greater due to the size of the territory.”
