Why did you choose Kidslingo?

I was looking for a company that allowed me to feel like I was self-employed and controlled my working hours, but also gave me the security of work colleagues. I also felt that talking with Anna (CEO) and having the opportunity to go and see classes and talk to other franchisees really gave me an honest and clear picture of how Kidslingo could work for me. Financially it was more accessible than other franchises.

How do you feel about your decision?

I could not be happier – Anna has created a superb brand. Everything you could possibly need when starting out from the brilliantly planned lessons that fit the EYFS and the national curriculum through to help with marketing and accounts. I feel like I can ask even the silliest of questions and no one makes it feel like that, in fact, the support of the whole team is fantastic. From a financial point of view, I started to market myself at the end of September 2016 and within several months had enough work to forecast earning more than I anticipated at that stage. I feel incredibly positive about the future of my business – I now have four tutors, 21 nursery classes, six school clubs and two venue classes (April 2019).

What difference has this career path made to your life?

Choosing Kidslingo has made a huge difference to my career path. I had to give up work due to my son’s health issues and after a year or so of being a stay at home mum, I needed something more for myself but still needed it to fit with our family. Kidslingo has been such a rewarding change financially and emotionally for me. I can honestly say that I love my job!

What do you think of the plans, resources and materials provided?

The material is excellent, exceptionally thorough and great fun to teach. The admin resources are also fantastic and make all the elements of being self-employed much easier. Anna has very high standards and that is appreciated, she is also open to discussion and asks the group for feedback. If you have any questions about materials help is always available.

What do you think about the support and help available?

I think the help and support are excellent, for example even though the lessons are very detailed if you are unsure of elements Anna will happily go through details or new ideas. Everyone who has bought into Kidslingo is in a similar position and needed to create a better work-life balance and we all show each other support.

What would you say to others considering joining Kidslingo?

I have already discussed the opportunity with other people and I would advocate for Kidslingo over and over again, I feel it was a brilliant decision and so do my family.
