The store has created 20 new jobs in the historic market town
Barnstaple’s Mayor, Councillor Louisa York, has officially opened a new Papa John’s on Boutport Street in Barnstaple, North Devon.
Papa John’s franchisee, Dr Renato Raho, said: “We are excited to expand in the Southwest and develop more stores in Devon and Cornwall on behalf of the Papa John’s brand, offering employment opportunities within our local community at the same time. The Barnstaple opening follows our recent store launch in Newton Abbot, and we have several more Papa John’s set to open in the region in the coming months.
“It’s important for us to find great team members as they are our secret ingredient for success! For example, we are currently recruiting more delivery drivers and riders for our electric bikes and scooters to support all our new stores. Opportunities are flexible and suit dependable, committed team players for full-time roles, or those looking to earn an extra income working part-time for just a few hours in the evening. All our team members have access to our online training academy which means they can progress on to other roles within the organisation if they choose.
“For the Barnstaple opening, we were able to offer special launch deals on collection pizzas which went down well with customers! It was wonderful to welcome Councillor Louisa York to be part of our official opening, and we now look forward to increasing our delivery radius as we get fully up to speed.”
