The British Franchise Association (BFA) has revealed that commercial cleaning provider NIC Services will be the main sponsor of its National Franchise Survey for 2024.
NIC Services will be the first-ever franchise to become the main sponsor of the BFA’s National Franchise Survey.
The franchise is a commercial cleaning services provider and has been a member of the BFA since 2006.
John Spencer, group chairman, and former BFA board member said he was pleased at NIC Services partnership for such an important industry benchmark.
“While building my business, I found the BFA national franchise survey to be an important source of up-to-date information on the franchise sector and I’m proud that NIC will now be the main sponsor of this important body of work,” said Spencer.
The BFA’s survey aims to publish a comprehensive benchmark of the franchise sector, which includes the numbers of franchise operations, the sector’s contribution to the UK’s GDP, and the profitability of franchisees.
Research for the survey has already begun and is anticipated for release in January 2024.
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the BFA offered her thanks to NIC services for enabling such crucial information to be delivered to the franchise sector and the wider British public.
“The survey is a vital tool to promote and protect franchising in the UK. Its results support the entire sector, allowing franchisors to demonstrate the success of franchising to potential franchisees and encouraging successful business owners to consider franchising their business as a route to growth and commercial success,” said Wilkins.
She also added that the survey was likely to show a lot of changes in the industry, as it has weathered Covid-19 and the cost-of-living crisis since the last survey in 2018.
